Perfect for that OJM at work

I'm picky about my soup tubs. Ramen, udon, carbonara, you name it; I've tried it. I was skeptical about this, but I just finished the last one in the pack my wife got me and I can't wait for the big pack I just ordered. Expensive? a little. As good as Bubbe's? not a chance. But good enough to drop $125 on an 18-pack? Absolutely.

    Surprising

I was very skeptical before tasting the soup. You know, most of us have grown up with our Nanas and Mothers matzoh balls. However, I was quite surprised at good these were overall very happy with the whole product. A bonus was the whole household came down with the flu and we lived off this soup for days. Good job! Now how about some instant sufganiyot.😂

Don't try it if you're on Chemo!

Tried it while experiencing metal mouth from Chemo and couldn't eat it; gave the rest to a friend and they LOVED it! So I can't wait to try it again when my taste is back! An order will be coming from them!!

“I just had the soup for lunch! It’s AWESOME! Way to knock those matzo balls out of the park!! They have the right flavor and the right texture. Like legitimately good matzo balls. The soup itself is also great- but the matzo balls are the real star 😝”

FAQ

Nu, how can we help?

It's true, matzo balls freeze dry and reconstitute perfectly! Our technology means that we preserve the taste, the nutrients, and the texture. The balls are slightly fluffier than you might be used to (sorry, no sinkers here), but you will be amazed by the results. If you don't believe us, check out our testimonials, or try for yourself!

Our soup comes with three full size balls (the size you'd make at home, not those honkers at the deli), a powdered broth blend in a sachet with onions, dill, full size carrots, and the best quality spices we could find. It is hearty and satiating. We know everyone has their own tradition though. That is what makes MBS so special, so we've left some room in the cup to add your own toppings, chicken, soup croutons, or whatever else will make you feel at home.

Our matzo ball soup is what is referred to as ovo-vegetarian. It contains eggs, but no other meat or dairy based products.

If you've ever made matzo ball soup, you know how long and tedious the process is. Our motto is "we make it so you don't have to."

At the same time, we want the comfort and joy of matzo ball soup to be easy and accessible for all. We are working hard to bring down the price with growth and scale. Supporting the brand early on helps accomplish that faster.

We worked for almost two years to perfect the process and technology to make sure you are getting a homemade/restaurant quality matzo ball soup - balls, broth, and veggies included - in under three minutes. Now if that isn't some futuristic space-age science, I don't know what is.

We pride ourselves on sourcing the highest quality ingredients from brands that share our values, going through a rigorous and pricey kashering process, and working tirelessly to put out the best matzo ball on the market - regardless of being instant. It isn't cheap, but we promise, it is worth it. (check out our reviews if you don't believe us).

We know that we are not the $1.99 fried, sodium filled instant noodles you are used to, but I don't think you'd want us to be, either.

If you can find a matzo ball soup from a restaurant or website delivered to your door for cheaper (including delivery fee), we will happily sell our balls to you for 10% less than the advertised price. You can email us at pricematch@nooish.co.

Yes, we are certified by the Chicago Rabbinical Council as Kosher Pareve. We are at this time not kosher for Passover as this is a product meant to be enjoyed all year round.

We would love to work with you to provide our cups in bulk. Please reach out to hello@nooish.co.

We built this brand to bring matzo ball soup to the masses. No gatekeeping here. Enjoy a bowl of warm, comforting matzo ball soup and see what the fuss is all about.

Our soup is shelf stable, meaning you can keep it in your pantry for up to 18 months and enjoy it whenever you need that warm feeling of home. We prefer to eat it whenever the moment sparks though. There will be plenty more available for when you're sick. pu pu pu.

At NOOISH we believe in Tikkun Olam (healing the world) as one of our core values. Our packaging is made from Recycled Paper and is 35% Sustana Envirolife Post-Consumer Recycled Fiber. The light weight packaging and not having to ship water or dry ice across the country means our carbon footprint is significantly reduced. We try everywhere we can to source our ingredients directly from small farmers and small businesses, including our partners, Burlap and Barrel and Real Salt.

We make everything by hand and sometimes a ball might not rehydrate in the way we expect it to. If you think you might have experienced a sub-par ball, please reach out to us and we will make it right.

To each their own - the balls are perfectly food safe if you are curious and would like to try them as a snack rather than add water. Just do not microwave them without adding water. You never know when you'll be lost in the desert for 40 years without water.

While we make it our mission to try to ship out next day and generally ship USPS ground to deliver (USPS priority if you upgrade). As the holidays are approaching, we are seeing demand spike and are making product as fast as we can. We hope to get your order out ASAP, but it might take an extra day or two given the overwhelming response. We ship out through our warehouse Monday-Friday at 1:00 pm CST. We ship out of Chicago.
